H.R.D. CERTIFICATION

The H.R.D. (Hoge Raad voor Diamant) means “The High Council of the Diamond” was founded in 1973 in Antwerp, Belgium. It is the only officially recognized representative Belgian diamonds at commercial and industrial level and its certificates have an excellent credit all over the world.

The Diamond High Council releases three type of certificates: one proving the authentication of the diamond, excluding in this way that it is an imitation or a synthetic gem. The second certificate gives a detailed description on quality, shape, weight, clarity level, flourescence, colour grading, size, proportion and polish level. The last one is the H.R.D. identification report.

All this determines the value of a diamond according to the H.R.D.
